Welcome to my site for showcasing products and services for solving your everyday issues with managing and coping with a physical disability in a practical way either via aids, gadgets or just practical advice.
Design for Disabilty is a rather negative statement which is why I decided in 2015 to use the branding of Designs for Ability, or the shortened version, Designs4Abilty, which I felt gave a more positive message. This website is your tool for empowerment, either through custom made aids, or the off the shelf products from my expanding range or sometime just good advice (which is free) via the blog on how to cope with a particular disability related can’t do issue. This service is run on a non profit basis as having had a severe disability my whole live I understand just what a difference a little extra help can make. |
